Ian Wood Homes has been selected by various joint venture partners to participate in developing new housing projects. This can be directly attributed to the high quality of planning design and presentation submitted for consideration, ensuring all commercial and aesthetic requirements were met. Take a "drive-by".

'Hillcrest Urban Improvement Project'
(In conjunction with the S.A. Housing Trust via Brock Barrell).
This is one of the first projects of this kind in Australia, where an entire suburb will undergo intensive change. A unique opportunity to blend the old with the new and keep the best the community has to offer and upgrade the rest. Some 235 timber frame dwellings owned by the S.A. Housing Trust are being removed with the resultant land being subdivided to create approximately 480 new residential allotments. Some of the remaining dwellings will be renovated, including extensive landscaping, then offered for private sale.
Substantial infrastructure works such as undergrounding of services, establishing new landscaped reserves and parks, new street lighting, roadways and landscaped road verges will enhance the new character of this existing suburb.
Ian Wood Homes was pleased to be invited to become involved in the rejuvenation program by firstly establishing a number of new homes on behalf of the S.A. Housing Trust and creating a display village of their homes to list the calibre of new housing this area. Our reputation for quality of design and construction was seen as an important aspect in establishing the credibility of this redevelopment program.
'The Vines' Mitchell Park Development - Stage 3 - Sturt Road, Mitchell Park.
(Joint Venture with the S.A. Housing Trust Design and Construct Program).
A large re-development in the continuing rehabilitation of the suburb of Mitchell Park. Old public housing was demolished to create broad open spaces with modern courtyard and villa allotments. All services were put underground and where unsightly poles once cluttered the streetscape, hundreds of exotic trees are being planted.
A display village was planned around a large planted reserve which will also incorporate a wetland for stormwater.
